Bio

Leo Dworsky is a first-year Master of Sacred Music (MSM) student in the Cantorial School at the Jewish Theological Seminary. 

He has performed with the Mill City Professional Opera, Buffalo Community Orchestra, Rochester Symphony and WCCO Channel Four. 

Other credits include recent roles such as Podestá in Mozart’s La Finta Giardiniera and Dr. Blind in Strauss’ Die Fledermaus. In Spring 2025, Leo performed the role of Basilio in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro with the U of MN Opera Theater. Leo was a Showcase Artist and scholarship winner for Thursday Musical and Minnesota Varsity (Classical MPR). 

Last summer, Leo participated in Nishma, a prestigious summer program for incoming cantorial students, to study and gain fluency in classical Jewish sources and the life of the Cantorate. 

He also has a private studio teaching voice and piano students.
